Podiatry is a source of excitement for me, given its diverse range of conditions and the gratifying challenges it presents. In my spare time, you would often find me nurturing my plants, engaging in various craft work, or exploring my spiritual side.
I have recently moved to New Zealand from Scotland, where I studied a Master of Podiatry for 4 years in Edinburgh.
My interest is in MSK conditions, however I also enjoy nail and skin appointments too. Having retired from my rugby career back in Scotland, I can appreciate sporting injuries and the importance of getting athletes back to their prime.

I am very excited to have this opportunity to help individuals stay active, reduce pain, and maintain their independence by providing thoughtful, patient-focused podiatric care.

Prior to moving to New Zealand, Donald worked in the UK, where he gained valuable experience delivering quality, patient-centered care across a wide range of clinical needs. Donald has a particular interest in orthotic prescription. His approach is grounded in a strong commitment to providing effective, evidence-based treatment, ensuring a high standard of care and achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for people suffering foot and leg pain.
Having worked with many of New Zealand’s elite athletes and Defence Force personnel, my passion these days is using the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years to lead and mentor our Rotorua team, ensuring we continue to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Ian graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2006 and has worked across both private practice and public podiatry services in Queensland and Tasmania. He has particular interests in running biomechanics, high risk foot/diabetic foot disease and surgical treatments for toenail pathologies.
I enjoy being a podiatrist because of the positive impact it has on my patient’s well-being. It is a rewarding job when my patients leave with a smile after their podiatric treatment.
