Largest In New Zealand
With the most extensive podiatry team across New Zealand, we provide more Kiwis with sure footing than any other practice.
Training is everything. That’s why our podiatrists train well beyond the hours required by the Podiatry Board of New Zealand. That’s something you can count on.
Our team of professionals adds up to a community of knowledge with more than a lifetime of expert foot care experience.
Who We Are
Our feet affect everything we do. Foot, ankle, and lower limb pain can dramatically change your quality of life, and so can quality care. That’s where Foot Mechanics Podiatrists comes in. John and Lorraine Miller established this family owned business in 1996. Our goal has always been to guarantee our fellow Kiwis the sure footing they deserve. Each Foot Mechanics podiatrist is registered with the Podiatry Board of New Zealand, and we’re the preferred foot care provider for the New Zealand Defence Force.
We ask every patient, “What is your pain preventing you from doing?” And with your answer in mind, we deliver a personal treatment plan designed for your lifestyle and a lifelong solution.
We specialise in musculoskeletal injuries of the foot. This type of injury feels like heel, arch, forefoot, Achilles, shin, or knee pain that tends to interrupt normal life. However you use your feet, we’re dedicated to getting you back to your active lifestyle.
We’re also equipped to provide foot-related nail and skin care, minor surgery, and medical condition management. Whatever your feet require, consider Foot Mechanics your podiatry partner. Our goal is to get you back on your feet and doing what you love.
What People Say About Us
“I came to Foot Mechanics with ankle pain and was seen by Keegan – he was sensational and one of the best I have ever been to. His approach was personable and professional.
After a thorough assessment I was diagnosed and issued with orthotics. These have been extremely effective in enabling me to get back on my feet faster and becoming pain-free.
Overall a world class experience!”
“Orthotic therapy has been essential in allowing me to run and compete at a high level.
With the correct orthotics I have been able to manage the pain associated with a disease and have continued to compete a high level, placing 8th at the recent New Zealand 10km Road Running Championships and winning the Hoka One One Half Marathon in Taupo, and the Mount Maunganui Half Marathon, both in August 2018.”
