Podiatrist – Donald Tait
Since becoming a newly qualified practitioner in 2025, I have worked within the national health service in Scotland, delivering patient-centred care to the public. At this early stage in my career, my focus is on absorbing knowledge and learning from my experienced co-workers and adopting that into my own practice. I have a special podiatric interest in orthoses prescription and sports injury rehabilitation. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking for my family and friends and love spending time outdoors running or riding my bike.
What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is an allied medical professional who takes care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs. They’re not doctors but specialists for your feet and can help with various foot-related issues, such as treating injuries, any toenail and skins problems, diagnosing and managing foot conditions and prescribing orthotics (3D printed) if clinically appropriate.
