Hi, I’m Ashley. I became part of the Foot Mechanics team in 2024, bringing experience from my work in Auckland and the Bay of Plenty. I am a 2016 graduate of AUT University with a passion for podiatry began when I recognized the vital role the foot and lower limb biomechanics play in preventing secondary issues throughout the body. <more>

What is a Podiatrist?

A Podiatrist is an allied medical professional who takes care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs. They’re not doctors but specialists for your feet and can help with various foot-related issues, such as treating injuries, any toenail and skins problems, diagnosing and managing foot conditions and prescribing orthotics (3D printed) if clinically appropriate.

So, if you have pain or problems with your feet or lower limbs, a Podiatrist is the person to see. Our Podiatrists will be able to confirm a diagnosis and provide you with a treatment plan that will get you back doing the things you love.
