* Cracked Heels
* Ingrown Nails
During the appointment we will take your full medical history, examine the skin, nail, vascular and neurological status of your feet. We then treat the problem and give ongoing foot care advice. The treatment will provide relief from discomfort or pain and help prevent the problem reoccurring.

A Musculoskeletal Assessment is required for foot and lower limb problems such as:
* Heel Pain/Plantar Fasciitis

* Ankle Pain
* Arch Pain
* Knee Pain
* Morton’s Neuroma
* Pronation and Flat Feet

During this detailed assessment we aim to identify the underlying causes of the pain or discomfort the patient is experiencing in their feet or legs. We will also look to set them up with a comprehensive management plan, including activity modification and home exercises appropriate for their condition. Treatment may also include the use of orthotics and shoe recommendations. We specialise in prescription orthotics (custom designed for the patient to suit their condition). We are proud of the success we have seen for thousands of patients from runners to construction workers wearing heavy duty work boots each day. Our Clinical Director and leading Auckland Sports Podiatrist James Baxter leads our team in orthotic therapy and prescription.

- To reduce pain
- To increase mobility and activity
- Or to return to work
Our podiatrists are trained for online consultations using the Allied Health Aotearoa Best Practice Guide for Telehealth. We are so pleased to be able to deliver this convenient service for our new and existing patients. This can happen wherever they are, on any device, provided they have good internet connection and an updated web browser.
In the beginning of a consultation, the podiatrist will run through a clinical assessment with them (just as they would in the clinic), and with this information diagnose their foot problem and provide them with a home management plan to best support them with their condition. Treatment is often similar to what we would normally recommend if we had seen the patient in clinic – specific exercises to help alleviate pain, footwear recommendations, prescription orthotics or foot health products.
The most suitable foot conditions for this service are – shin pain, heel pain, achilles pain, forefoot pain, bunions and severs disease.
Private cost for appointment: $60
Follow up from an appointment
Where necessary, we follow up every appointment received from a referral from a health professional with a letter stating what our findings were during the appointment and what the treatment plan is to be moving forward.
When we believe that a patient would benefit from a further assessment and treatment form another health professional, we will refer them on promptly. We want to ensure the patient is getting the best outcome from a health team working collaboratively to help them on their journey to recovery.
