Hamstring tear
A hamstring tear is a pull at the back of the upper leg.
The causes of a hamstring tear are; a tight nerve, sprain, sudden stop and start, poor muscle strength imbalance, inflexibility, training error, wrong shoes, overuse.
Treatment of a hamstring tear include; rest, ice, anti-inflammatory, activity modification, strapping, stretching, strengthening, nerve stretch, orthotics, change of footwear.
