Podiatrist – Beth Streets (Master of Podiatry)
I have recently moved to New Zealand from Scotland, where I studied a Master of Podiatry for 4 years in Edinburgh. My interest is in MSK conditions, however I also enjoy nail and skin appointments too. Having retired from my rugby career back in Scotland, I can appreciate sporting injuries and the importance of getting athletes back to their prime. <more>
Podiatrist – Taesun Shim (BHSc Podiatry)
Hi, I’m Taesun. I was born in South Korea and moved to New Zealand at a young age. From an early age, sport played a significant role in my life, with football being a major focus. Through years of regular physical activity, I developed a strong interest in how the lower limb contributes to movement, balance, and sport performance, as well as how injuries can impact everyday function. <more>
What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is an allied medical professional who takes care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs. They’re not doctors but specialists for your feet and can help with various foot-related issues, such as treating injuries, any toenail and skins problems, diagnosing and managing foot conditions and prescribing orthotics (3D printed) if clinically appropriate.
So, if you have pain or problems with your feet or lower limbs, a Podiatrist is the person to see. Our Podiatrists will be able to confirm a diagnosis and provide you with a treatment plan that will get you back doing the things you love.
